Danae’s Oracle is a monumental bustier with a little door opening in the front; it represents both the seductive pricess of the myth, and the tower where the father Acrysius imprisoned her to prevent her from having sexual intercourse. Danae’s Oracleexists in twoo versions: the final, four and a half meters high, exhibited for the first time at the Lido di Venezia and then Installed in the Thetis Sculpture Garden in Venice; and as a maquette of a meter and half, full of exquisite details (collection of the artist)

Danae’s Oracle è un monumentale bustier con una porticina apribile sul davanti che rappresenta insieme sia la seducente principessa del mito che la torre nella quale il padre Acrisio la rinchiuse tentando inutilmente di sottrarla alle nozze. Danae’s Oracle esiste in due versioni: quella finale, alta cinque metri e mezzo, presentata per la prima volta al Lido di Venezia nell’ambito di Open 2006 e poi installata nel Giardino di Sculture Thetis di Venezia; e come maquette di due metri e mezzo circa, ricca di squisiti dettagli (proprietà dell’artista)
